Getting Patio Umbrellas - 2
...The larger patio umbrellas have been designed to operate easily. One of the largest patio umbrellas that I looked at was also the easiest one to operate. The umbrella opened and closed using a crank lift system. I was able to tilt the canopy in all directions by squeezing a trigger on the runner handle. This feature alone makes patio umbrellas really useful to get the perfect angle of shade.
I was unsure of how to properly secure patio umbrellas before I went to the furniture showroom at the garden center. I was told to purchase two concrete blocks that weighed fifty pounds each. I was also told that patio umbrellas will last longer if they are taken care of throughout the year. A lot of patio umbrellas come with covers that should be used to keep the elements off of the canopy when it is not in use.
My favorite patio umbrellas were the offset ones and I liked the blue material used for the canopy. I did more looking, but I did decide on one of the fancy patio umbrellas with a crank lift system and an octagon shape. I had fun choosing accessories for my new purchase.
